I visited this place with great expectation as it is an authentic Japanese sake bar run by a Japanese chef. It is located right in front of Millak The Market, so you can easily find it.

It is located on the second floor, and the interior seen through the large glass windows looked very neat and clean.

From the entrance, you can immediately feel that this is an intimate and private space.

The interior creates a refined mood reminiscent of an omakase counter. It is wonderful for a date, and because the space is quiet, it allows you to focus comfortably on your conversation.

Here is the dining menu. It consists of two simple and neat sheets. The sake menu offers a particularly wide variety of choices. First, let us look at the food menu.

And this is the separate sake menu.

For sake, I selected Nanbu Bijin (30,000 KRW), and since I wanted to drink moderately, I ordered it served in a tokkuri carafe.

For the first dish, I ordered the Maguro Tataki (38,000 KRW), and the chef straw-smoked it over open flames right after the order was placed.

The dish was served with beautiful plating, and the smoky aroma on the very first bite left a remarkable impression. I highly recommend ordering this dish.

Because the food was so delicious, I ended up ordering more drinks than originally planned. There were so many wonderful types of sake that it was hard to choose just one.

For the next dish, I ordered the Saba Bousushi 8P (26,000 KRW), which is a signature mackerel pressed sushi.

Some people worry that mackerel might taste overly fishy, but there was no fishiness at all and it was truly delicious. Eating each piece with pickled ginger created a wonderfully balanced flavor.

I was curious about the other dishes on the menu, but since I was getting full, I ordered the Nasu Nibitashi (8,000 KRW), a delicate simmered eggplant dish.

The chef explained that the eggplant was first fried and then gently simmered. The fragrant katsuobushi flakes on top added a delightful accent to the whole dish.

With its clean interior, comfortable lighting, delicious dishes, and reasonable prices, this is a place I would gladly visit often.
It was simply a wonderful dining bar without unnecessary clutter. I highly recommend pairing your meal with sake, as it complements the food perfectly.

I also recommend visiting Millak The Market located right next door.
