✨ Inside Busendong Gwangalli: Atmosphere & Food Guide
Finding the entrance can be a bit tricky at first since it’s tucked away in the corner of the building. The easiest way to spot this Gwangan station restaurant is to look for Ediya Coffee first.

Once you see Ediya Coffee, head straight into the small side alley right next to it. You will quickly spot the hidden entrance as part of this Busan local food guide.

You’ve made it! This cozy brick storefront is Busendong Gwangalli, where your search for the best seafood in Gwangalli truly begins.

As a huge fan of seafood and sushi, Kaisen-don is definitely one of my favorite meals. It captures all the fresh flavors of sushi, served as a comforting bowl.

Today’s highlighted dish is their signature Gwangalli seafood rice bowl (Kaisen-don).

They offer a few dish variations depending on the types of fish added, but I ordered the classic fresh sashimi bowl Busan version. If it’s your first time here, I highly recommend starting with this original menu (approx. 23,000 KRW as of July 2026).

I really wanted to enjoy some Sapporo draft beer or sake with the meal, but since I brought my car, I had to pass. They would have paired wonderfully with the fresh seafood bowl!

Behind the counter, skilled chefs prepare every single order with great care and focus.

Here comes the main dish! Visiting on a quiet weekday meant my food arrived fresh and fast within just about 10 minutes.

The bowl is completely packed with a generous variety of ultra-fresh seafood toppings.

Look at these premium tuna cuts—exceptionally fresh with zero fishy taste. It’s easily one of the highlights of this Gwangalli seafood rice bowl!

I actually love this place so much that I visit almost once a week! Since they prepare market-fresh ingredients daily, the exact fish selection in your bowl can slightly vary depending on the day’s catch.

On this visit, the sashimi slices were cut nice and thick!

The photos don’t fully do it justice, but the slices were so thick and wonderfully chewy. I’ll definitely work on taking better photos next time!

There’s a sign written in Korean that says, “Please enjoy some candies.” Make sure to grab one on your way out!

To be honest, I can’t read Japanese, so I’m not really sure what it says ^^..

If you are currently near Gwangan Station and love fresh seafood, you should definitely check this place out. Highly recommended!
