✨ Inside 100.1.Pyeongnaeng Busan: Atmosphere & Food Guide

I visited this cold noodle restaurant, which has been officially selected for the Michelin Guide Busan since 2025. Because Pyongyang naengmyeon was unfamiliar to me, I had always been curious and wanted to visit.

On a Sunday lunch visit, there were about seven teams waiting, and I entered after roughly thirty minutes. Although the dining space is not overly large, there are plenty of tables, which seems to keep the wait time reasonable.

I captured two different versions of the menu board.
You can comfortably check whichever one you prefer.

The dishes arrived at the table almost immediately. I ordered the traditional Pyongyang naengmyeon and the spicy bibim naengmyeon.

I was so focused on eating that I only took a few photos.
The Pyongyang naengmyeon suited my taste far better than expected.
The broth seemed subtle at first yet was deeply addictive, pairing wonderfully with the sliced radish kimchi.

The bibim noodles offered a richer, layered depth beyond typical spicy noodles, staying thoroughly flavorful until the very last bite.

The chef refined this unique recipe by visiting legendary Pyongyang naengmyeon houses across the country, and I truly agree with that dedication.

While the price point is certainly higher than standard Busan milmyeon, this is a specialty restaurant that offers every reason to visit and taste.
