Located inside the L7 Hotel Haeundae near Haeundae Beach, Sushi Nee ( 스시 니 ) is a refined sushi omakase sanctuary offering an intimate and elevated dining experience in Busan. Renowned for its meticulous craftsmanship and pristine seasonal seafood sourced directly from coastal markets, this place provides an exclusive counter-seating atmosphere where each piece of sushi is masterfully prepared and served right before your eyes.

Operating strictly by advance reservation with single fixed seatings for lunch and dinner, the kitchen focuses purely on course perfection rather than mass dining. Guests can savor delicately aged sashimi, warm seasoned shari, and exquisite seasonal specialties, all enhanced by an exceptionally reasonable corkage policy of ₩15,000. Whether celebrating a special occasion or seeking an authentic Japanese culinary highlight during your Haeundae coastal getaway, Sushi Nee delivers an unforgettable omakase journey.

✨ Inside Sushi Nee Busan: Atmosphere & Food Guide

Today, I would like to introduce an omakase restaurant that offers fresh, outstanding flavors using quality ingredients at a reasonable price. It is located on the second floor of L7 Hotel, right in front of Haeundae Beach.

The dining space is intimate, with a capacity of eight guests or fewer.

The interior decor is exceptionally clean and neat. We visited for the dinner course and brought a bottle of wine.

Please note that my menu descriptions may not be entirely exact.
The first dish served was sardine isobe maki.

Next came a small bowl of grilled eel over rice.

Sashimi was also served in between, but I unfortunately missed taking a photo.

This was crispy fried geumtae (blackthroat seaperch), which was wonderfully crunchy outside and moist inside.

Then, the sushi courses began. The opening piece was red sea bream (madai).

Next was horse mackerel (aji).

Next was marinated bluefin tuna, which was equally delightful since I am a huge tuna lover.

Then came medium fatty tuna (chutoro).

Next was rich fatty tuna (otoro).

This is sea urchin (uni). While preferences can vary, it is always a favorite of mine.

Then came cured mackerel (saba).

After that, the chef handed us a fresh temaki hand roll, but I could not take a picture as I received it directly by hand.

Next was tender grilled sea eel (anago).

At the end, the chef asked if there was any piece we would like to repeat, and I chose tuna belly. The complimentary encore sushi was truly satisfying.

Lastly, we enjoyed a refreshing citrus sherbet for dessert.
Although I missed capturing several dishes while enjoying the meal, I hope this review proves helpful.
It is an excellent omakase dining experience throughout, so I gladly recommend it.

I would like to recommend two nice cafes located nearby.
