✨ Inside Busan Cinema Center Library: Spaces & Facilities Guide

The place I visited today is the specialized film library located inside the Busan Cinema Center. The building is so massive that it is difficult to capture it all in a single shot even from afar.

During the day, the exterior has a subtle illumination, but it becomes truly magnificent at night. The unique architectural facade was so captivating that I took plenty of photos.

This is the main entrance to the Busan Cinema Center Library located on the 4th floor of the Double Cone building.

As it is a specialized library, it offers a very spacious area for reading and studying in complete comfort.

There is also a cozy small theater on the lower floor that offers free screenings, though there was no scheduled screening on the day I visited.

This area is dedicated to photo books and art archives, filled with an immense number of books. I sat down and spent time browsing through various art books of animations that I love.

I am sure everyone loves ‘My Neighbor Totoro’, as it is truly one of the best animations of my life.

Although I am not deeply knowledgeable about film production, this space would be an absolute paradise for film majors and cinema lovers.

There is a wide collection of international film books in English, so foreign visitors will definitely find inspiring material to read here.

This is a dedicated multimedia screening space where visitors can freely choose and watch curated movies and archives at no cost.

Arranged nicely by year, there is a rich selection of films ranging from BIFF award winners to invited festival entries across various genres.

The movie I chose has a very thought-provoking and philosophical title.

You can simply sit at the booth and scan the QR code to enjoy the movie on the screen.

There is also a lovely corner where visitors can sit back and listen to classic vinyl records.

I also noticed a special display corner featuring books and items related to Suzume.

There were so many fun things to explore that time just flew by while browsing around.

From the cozy window seats looking outside, the sun was gently setting over the city.

The building looked so stunning from the outside that I came out and took lots of photos.

This is the entrance to the library at night, showing a completely different and charming mood from the daytime.

They sometimes hold outdoor movie screenings here at night, making it such a romantic spot.

The riverside walking trail nearby is also very well maintained, so I sometimes take a relaxing walk around here. When you look across from the opposite side of the river, you can capture this massive architectural view all at once.
I highly recommend visiting!
