✨ Inside De Marigny Busan : Atmosphere & Brunch Guide

Did you come over after reading my [ OPS Bakery Busan – Top 3 Iconic Bakery in Haeundae (Camellia Branch) ] post? This is De Marigny, a restaurant operated directly by OPS Bakery. It has a wonderfully classic European vibe.

For the entrance, you can either come in directly from the main street or walk through the connected passage from the OPS bakery.

The outdoor menu board is a bit hard to see in this photo, but don’t worry—I’ll show you a detailed look at the menu inside the restaurant in a moment!

Inside, the navy-and-white tiles paired with warm orange lighting create a gorgeous accent. Isn’t it so pretty?

Right by the entrance, they have fresh salads and cold-pressed juices available for takeout.

A selection of OPS pastries is also displayed right inside here as well.

Isn’t this display table stunning? It was so beautiful that I actually used this exact photo as the main cover image for my OPS post too!

They offer a wide variety of dishes including soups, brunch items, and pastas.

There is plenty of seating available and the space is quite spacious.

I personally love European architecture and interior styles, so every time I visit De Marigny, it really makes me feel like traveling abroad.

Our drinks arrived—we ordered a matcha latte and tea. As for the pastries we brought over from OPS, we had a pollack roe baguette, choux cream bread, and a pudding danish.

I mentioned this in my OPS Bakery post as well, but you MUST try this one. Absolutely 100%!

From the window view, you can catch a glimpse of the ocean, and that yacht passing by is right there because the harbor and dock are located directly in front of the restaurant.

They say warm orange lighting has a psychological and physiological relaxing effect, and indeed, I felt so cozy and comfortable while sitting here. I almost wanted to take a little nap… though maybe it was just a food coma! haha

Even the kitchen and dish return counter look super neat and pretty. Every now and then, you’ll see the chef step out to check on things.

The surroundings are so pretty, and you can even spot the LCT building way in the distance. It’s an easy walk from Haeundae Beach, too. We actually stepped out to head over to Dongbaek Island right next door, but this place was just too gorgeous not to post about!

Behind the hotel in the photo is Dongbaek Island. The moment you step out of De Marigny, this dock area pops right up.

Now, shall we walk around Dongbaek Island to digest a bit? It’s a small island, perfect for a casual stroll. You might even spot some stray cats, and walking along the coastline offers absolutely stunning views!
