✨ Inside The Coolest Hotel Busan: Lobby, Rooms & Amenities Tour

I recently stayed at The Coolest Hotel Busan, a relatively new oceanfront accommodation situated right along the Songjeong coast in Haeundae. With its clean exterior and very reasonable rates, it felt truly well-rounded in every aspect.

Check-in starts at 16:00 and check-out is by 11:00. The 2nd-floor lobby area features a remarkably stylish and modern design.

I was assigned to Room 303, and the booking rate was around 70 USD for a September weekday stay.

The room interior had a colorful and trendy sensibility that felt distinct from typical Korean hotels. It strongly reminded me of Mama Shelter Paris La Défense, which I visited previously.

Since it was a terrace guestroom, opening the sliding door immediately revealed a close-up view of Songjeong Beach. Although my room was on the 3rd floor, staying on a higher floor would likely provide an even wider panoramic seascape.

The Haeundae Blueline Park Songjeong Station is situated right across from the hotel. If you are traveling from central Haeundae, taking this scenic Beach Train makes your journey exceptionally convenient and enjoyable.

After quickly unpacking my luggage, I headed straight up to explore the rooftop swimming pool area.

The swimming pool is comfortably spacious and very tastefully designed.

🌊 Exploring Songjeong Beach: Local Eats, Nightcap & Seaside Walks

I walked out to visit a nearby restaurant for lunch, catching sight of the colorful Blueline Park train waiting on the tracks.

I visited Haeundae 31cm Seafood Kalguksu. This spot has always stood out for its superb taste, generous portions, and fair pricing, making it my first dining choice when mealtime came.
I ordered one portion of seafood kalguksu alongside a crispy seafood pajeon.

After a satisfying meal, I strolled down to dip my feet in the ocean. Songjeong Beach has designated surfing zones, and it was filled with energetic beachgoers that afternoon. It was wonderful watching playful dogs on the sand and taking in the coastal breeze.

Needing a quick sweet treat along the way, I recharged with freshly made churros from Chuplus. This place is widely regarded as a must-visit dessert landmark in Songjeong.

Returning to the hotel, I went back up to the rooftop to swim. As the sunset painted the sky, the warm heated pool water allowed for a truly relaxing and cozy swim.

After finishing my swim, I headed out right at opening time to visit Bar Railside, a cozy spot I spotted earlier in the day. It felt just like an intimate neighborhood cocktail lounge you might stumble upon abroad.

For a quick late-night snack on the walk back, I grabbed a hot dog right along the beach street.

This place is genuinely delicious, and I highly recommend trying it during your visit!

I ended the night relaxing in bed watching Netflix. Because the guestroom is equipped with a modern Smart TV, accessing both Netflix and YouTube is effortless.

Among Busan locals, Songjeong Beach is cherished for its crystal-clear water, dynamic surf culture, and relaxed seaside quietude. If you want to experience Busan’s authentic coastal charm beyond the busy city center, I warmly recommend planning a trip here.

Additionally, if you enjoy peaceful and quiet coastal views, the nearby village of Cheongsapo is well worth a visit as well!
